Learning things the hard way.

The other day I looked out our bedroom window and there was some morbo goth bitch watching me get dressed. It was creepy. Not sexy. So creepy that I made Brandon nail a towel towel over the window which looked super fucking ugly. We decided to replace the towel with an ENJE roller-blind from Ikea which is fine but not sexy. We bought the gray one. It pretty much looks like nothing. It's boring.

The first blind we picked up was busted so we had to go back to Ikea to exchange it. There should be warnings about how garbage people hang out at Ikea on Monday nights. In the future I am going to attempt to not buy broken shit so that we don't have to return to nightmares like that.

We decided to hang it when we were tired and very cranky...and without reading the instructions or using basic logic like using the blind as the measuring device to determine how far apart the hooks should be. It was not a cute scene. Long story short, there are now a lot of holes in the window casing that don't need to be there. We also found out that the actual window is metal and impervious to electric drills. Whoops.

When I woke up this morning the blind looked sort of sparkly or something. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Maybe it will fade or something.

What do you think? Isn't that haunted tree neat? I can't wait until it falls down on our apartment.

Would the window look better if we added a plant or something?

BTDUBS: The goth pictured above is on the cover from the Trust album TRST. They make dark electro-goth dance jams and it's perfect for stormy nights like this one.
